Toomey Leasing Group - proud sponsors of RAF Typhoon Display Team
Toomey Leasing Group has renewed its sponsorship of the RAF Typhoon Display Team for the seventh year in a row. As part of our sponsorship, Toomey Leasing Group will present the team at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, with a brand new Ford Ranger and Toyota Corolla Estate to support them at PR events, aerobatic display days, charity events and more!
The Typhoon Display Team consists of a dedicated group of professionals made up of personnel from 29 Squadron. It includes a pilot and ground personnel handpicked from an elite cadre based at Coningsby, who operate a programme of displays from May until September up and down the country.
Eurofighter Typhoon
The Eurofighter Typhoon is the result of a collaboration between four European nations: UK, Germany, Italy and Spain. The consortium which develops and manufactures the fighter is made up of defence firms BAE Systems, Alenia Aermacchi and Airbus Defence & Space.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is one of the world’s most advance fighter aircraft and can reach a top speed of Mach 2 (1,320 mph). It first came into service in 2003 and is now used by a number of air forces throughout the world.
